Oops -- Reformatted and lost files

I should have asked what the "format" feature in "system" did before I touched it. All files were deleted from my folders.

It's not a problem putting my stuff back on, I just got the player, and hadn't put too much on it yet.

But now I'm missing all the files that came with the player -- the wallpapers are gone from the pictures file, the little fun freebie videos are gone, and who knows what else. There may have been some read me files for datacasts or stuff I lost. I was just beginning to use the player when I did this, so I'm not even sure all that I'm missing.

I upgraded to the latest firmware, but it didn't include this stuff. Called Samsung and they said they had nothing to offer in terms of a download.

So now I appeal to any good-hearted souls out there who recently got their player and still have the intro files. If someone could copy the files to folders of the same name they came from and post them -- or maybe email them to me in an attachment, I'd be most appreciative.

I'm feeling pretty stupid for hitting "format" right now.

What videos did you have?
There's the Emoture one, and the Sheep one,
but then some versions have the D-War preview, and the others
have the "Change Your Life P2" video.

Thanks so much! On the video, I think I had the first three you mentioned. I don't think I had "change your life P2." The first three videos (Emoture, Sheep, & D-War) are in the stock files download that juzz referred me to. So I've got those now.

Hey, I found it -- thanks so much. I got the pics, three videos, dnse text and 4 or 5 songs in that file -- probably everything my P2 came with.

Yeah, the newer P2's [I just got my second one, two days ago]
have the Change Your Life P2 video instead of the D-War one.

Thanks for putting this together. I found the stock items file download at YJ Zone before I saw your post. But I'm thinking of downloading it anyway just to check it out to see if you've posted anything I missed in using the other file.

And, right now, I am creating a backup folder of all my P2 files on my PC. I should have done it earlier . . .

Now, a final question -- how many games are we supposed to have? The download I got from Samsung usa included three: Bubble Smile, Jigsaw, Pow Wow.

when i extracted the pics and put it on my p2, the small icons are smaller then before i accidently reformatted the p2? what is happening?

that happened with me... earlier i had bigger icons and now they are square (no matter what shape the pic is)... so i think its just in the P2...
