I have an iHome, and I am attempting to take the original iPod connector out and put in a USB connector that only provides power, that would charge ANY mp3 player, then you would hook the headphone output up to the line-in and listen to music like that, while charging it. The iHome outputs only 3.3 VDC, unlike a standard USB 2.0 that outputs 5.0 VDC, and I wondered if pulgging my sansa view into 3.3 VDC instead of the normal 5, would damage the player in any way
