Default Buffer Size

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but what is a good audio buffer size? if there is no set size is there any sort of guide to go by? does an extremely large or small buffer affect battery life any?

Rockbox doesn't allow you to configure the audio buffer size.

so in a way you can.
and if I read this correctly larger music buffers are better?

For most players, a larger buffer is better because the disk needs to spin up less times overall, conserving battery. For flash based players this is not a concern.

Yes, you can shorten the buffer by wasting the RAM on other things.
