Default Rockbox Error

Hello. I'm going to explain to you how I put cpchan's complied rockbox in my sansa

1. Found the bootloader and downloaded it. Click on it, and pressed I for "installed".

2. It was successful and I clicked enter to get rid of it.

3. Downloaded cpchan's rockbox.zip

4. Extracted all the files and dragged it into my root directory folder of my sansa.

5. Turned on my sansa and this is what I got:

The words were too small to see, and once I turned it on for about 5 seconds it would shut off by itself.

This is what it said:
Rockbox boot loader
Version: 4.0
Sandisk Sansa e200
Partition 0: 0x0B 1896MB
Partition 1: 0x84 20MB
Loading rockbox...
Can't load rockbox.mi4:
File Not Found
Can't load rockbox.e200:
File not found

I HAVE A SANSA E250R REBURISHED

You do not have the Rockbox file on the Sansa right.

First you must calm down.
Second it's not Cpchan fault that something is wrong with you rockbox installation so don't blaim him...

Did you use this "special instructions for the installation procedure on the R versions"?
Try install Rockbox again and try the daily build from Rockbox site - if it will work the cpchan's build will work too for sure.

Its weird beacuse Cabbie is the default theme right now...

USB its still not supported in rockbox so it will NOT work, you MUST use OF for file transfer.

Push power button for 15-20 seconds.

Did you ever read Rockbox FAQ or Manual?

I'm sorry I didn't even know my sansa e250 was a rhapsody until I looked at the installation CD and the back of my sansa.

When I bought a refurbished one from buy.com they never told me it would be rhapsody. I wanted the normal kind...

Lol why did buy.com not tell me it was RHAPSODY!

I wanted the normal kind, I'm not going through all that trouble because the OF version seems the same but videos r bigger. I don't need videos on a 2gb mp3 anyways.

Thanks for the help
