Default player not recognizing updated file info

hey guys,

i have a question. i've been adding music using UMS. and every once in a while, i'll find that i named files wrong, or albums are aren't named the same, so my album is scattered.

i change the info of each of the files, but when i disconnect my player, it still shows the old info. even if i delete the file, and resend the file with the new info, it would still show the old album/song names on the player.

anybody else have this issue?

the only way it seems that i can actually get it to update it, is to wipe clean the player, reformat it, and resend all the songs.

any help is greatly appreciated.

I would try the following steps:

(1) Delete the misnamed files from the Z5.

(2) Disconnect the Z5, and verify that the files no longer display on the Z5.

(3) Reconnect the Z5, and copy the corrected versions of the files from your computer to the Z5.

(4) Disconnect the Z5, and verify that the corrected versions of the files display on the Z5.
