That is completely awesome that it reads adobe files, but no .txt files? Does that mean I have to purchase Adobe Acrobat and publish all my text files as .pdf in order to see it on this unit?
I know the one online book I have is .pdf, is that the standard for books? No bookmarking? Isn't that built into adobe? Is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance, Grant |

With pdfcreator, you can freely create pdf, no need to buy Adobe Acrobat.

thanks guys, the pdfcreator seems easy enough...batch convert all my .txt files, no biggie.
could you expand some on qtopia? i don't trust wikipedia, the sites i looked at quickly make this seem like its an actual os. would this include all the free linux stuff I wish I started using back in the 80's lol (have a mandrake edition I'd love to use, but no spare pc atm). Thanks, Grant PS could this qtopia fix my internet browser/msn question a few lines down this forum? |

QTopia is a linux platform, the 605 was hacked to support it last month, you can catch some videos on youtube

those videos didn't help, wikipedia reference from there was worse lol...managed to see the yukyung pmp, which seems really really cool, does anyone know where to find english specifics for this thing?
do you think i could shove a version of that onto my old hp jornada 540 pda? i might start a seperate thread for qtopia if i can't find anything fairly soon |
