Default question about custom builds

I have one or two questions about using a custom build of rockbox

1) Do I need to install Rockbox before installing a custom build?

2) In the Rockbox installation guide it says to safely remove the e200, how do I do that?

Thanks for the help

The system tray is on the right-hand side of the taskbar.

You need to install rockbox first using sansapatcher and then install the custom build. If you don't install rockbox with sansapatcher, you will not have the bootloader that you need.

sansapatcher is NOT installing Rockbox. It is ONLY installing the bootloader.

You don't need to install Rockbox before you install a custom build, but you DO need to install the bootloader. They are two separate things. Please, be careful with these terms.

As well, to repeat since I see this mistake made around here a lot too: Sansapatcher is not the bootloader, but it is the program we use to install the bootloader.

Please, be careful with the claims you make.
