I don't understand how to make one, because if I make one in Winamp, the path to the mp3 in the m3u file is to the drive letter assigned to the player when hooked to the computer.

As I recall I used to make M3U files with some utility that auto created them from a right-click on the folder. I'm not sure if I ever tried it from the folder on the player but I know I did it often on the folder on the computer.
The playlists from this utility weren't recognized by the player for some reason, but if I loaded the playlist into Windows Media Player and then saved it back (again as a .M3U) then I was able to just drag and drop the M3U to the player and it worked fine. I think that the player ignores the drive reference. |
