My 504 fits in my pants cargo pockets just fine. The 604 is a tad thinner, but it'd be a tight squeeze into a front pocket or jacket pocket. Also, the 504 has problems with static electricity resetting it, so it'd be better to have a case or enough room that it's not rubbing against cloth all the time.
