Zune 2 hits Wal-Mart?

According to the linked article, some 2nd generation Zune's were spotted at a St. Louis Wal-Mart store and are reportedly for sale, almost two weeks before the supposed ship date, although there's some discussion in the comments about the players on the pic being only cardboard displays.

They are just displays. They have been up at my Walmarts and Targets for weeks. MS hasn't shipped any yet.

I saw the Target's display for the Zune. They told me that the display models is the actual size. If they are actual size, I would not mind getting the flash based Zune.

Yeah that's what they do when something new comes out. Not everyone knows about the Zune 2.

They're actual size EXCEPT for the thickness, I'm pretty sure. They're impossibly thin, and the 80 is the same as the flash ones, which I'm pretty sure isn't actually the case.

The Zune 80 is a bit under .5 inches in thickness, which places it a bit thinner than the 1st Gen Zune (30).

The Zune Flash is a just a wee-bit under 8mm...

and this is coming from a Sansa owner
