Default Creative ZEN sticker designs (Not Spam). What do y'all think?

Well, I was bored one night and decided Creative weren't doing the best job of getting their products into the public eye, so I decided I'd make some little designs. These are designed so that they can go in little peeloff stickers, that you can slap onto streetlight poles, on walls, on the train, wherever.

All I need is to find somewhere that will actually make then, these took me about 10 minutes all up, I would have made more for their other products but I honestly need some sleep, so heres the first batch:

What do y'all think? Any good? Worth pursuing?

So you want to vandalize the public landscape to market Creative's players?

Yes. Yes I do. I'd do a better job at marketing them that way then Creative would the conventional way.

Do you need to do something to prevent you from violating their copyright?

Maybe as long as you don't end up selling those stickers...

Try e-mailing Creative your designs/ideas. I like them. The pretty colors make me want to buy one

I got most of the images from the 'uncopyrighted' image database on their site, so I'm im the clear there, and the rest, well they cant really copyright words...well...they can but you know what I mean...

This was in response to my h.264 query. It's probably a default response, and I don't blame them, my email was a little blunt.

"Dear Toby

Thank you for reaching us at Creative Email Technical Support; we
appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

We appreciate and value the feedback and suggestion given. I've
forwarded the suggestion to the relevant department. They are looking
into this matter seriously.

Once again, we are certainly thankful that you have taken precious time
to bring this matter to our attention. Thank you for your continuous
support in Creative products. It has been my pleasure serving you.

If you still require assistance, please reply to this email with any
previous correspondence to ensure the quickest and most accurate
service.

try zazzle.com

go to "creat a product"

scroll down to the bottom, and under "express it" you should see an option for bumper stickers

While I like your design ideas, putting these into print is an issue you don't want to get into. But if you do try, just remember to take the Cease and Desist letter you will undoubtedly receive seriously. Oh, and good luck getting a reputable printer to actually make these, as they won't want to be sued by Creative either.

Your logic of an "uncopyrighted image database" (whatever that is supposed to be) is unfortunately going to get you into trouble you likely won't want. But, as I said, good design ideas nonetheless.

Well - now that we've scared the crap out of the poor guy...

Atrax, ifonline's right - they are copyrighted images and logos, and Creative could sue if you pursued this on your own (though I think, given the amount of free advertising, they'd be insane to do so). However, I believe you should contact Creative, pitch your idea, and ask for permission to print and distribute these things, bearing in mind that you won't be able to sell them or otherwise profit from them.

It never hurts to ask. The absolute worst they'll do is say no.

If I saw a company advertising by vandalizing public property I would make sure not to buy their product out of principle.
