what is the find "zune devices on the web" option supposed to do in the zune software in the options area?

Could you specify where that is? The only thing I can find like it is the option under Options -> Sync -> Find Connected Devices.

Ah, I see now. Thanks.
I assume that since the Zune software is a WMP11 derivative the link text and target were changed in the Zune rebranding. In WMP11, that link is entitled "Look for devices on the Web" and tt takes you to a list of WMP11 compatible devices on the Web. I guess they left it in the Zune software just in case you had the software and didn't have a Zune...
