After charging my gigabeat the up button will stick making it impossible to use. I tried playing with the buttons slapping it in my hand and that helps a little. If I let it set a couple of days the buttons seem to work ok, until the next charge and it will happen all over again! Is this something I can fix or will I have to send it to Toshiba? Thanks for any help!!!

Also once you get the 2 end pieces & screws out you slide down on the cover and it will come off. If you need anymore help just post here.

I see no screws holding the end caps on, do they just pull off? I don't want to damage it! Could any one give me detailed steps on how to do this. Thanks!

Did you check the above link? If you look on the side of the player you can see where the end piece meets with the side piece I just stick my fingernail and pull away from the player and then you will see the screws on the bottom of the player (there are no screws on the top).
