is there any way to make all the songs volumes the same in the player, as now some of my songs sound louder or softer than others, any settings in the d2 that enables it? thx

No, not on the D2 itself - use MP3Gain GUI for that. It provides better results than dynamic normalizing and is completely lossless and reversible.

What format is your music encoded in? MP3Gain will only work if your music is in mp3 format. If you are using a different format please specify. |

hi, thx for welcoming me, most of my music is in mp3 format, trying to get most of them into 192kb size.....juz got the player yesterday, im really blown away by it, becoz after reading bout its good points for a long time, finally got 1 set myself, it really is as good as its said to be! i'll try the Mp3Gain, thx for the info

If your music is already in a compressed format (MP3, WMA, OGG, etc) - DO NOT convert it again. It will just sound worse (and take up more space if you convert it from a smaller file, like 128k).

no no, of coz not re-convert it UP from 128kb.....of coz i re-encode them from cds or get the 192kb ones from elsewhere
