hi, new here. best site i have ever seen!
anyways straight to the point, at first i was inclined to the CX300 (people say it is the best in sound quality) but then i found this site and saw the v-modas, and they look awesome. so now I am debating whether to get the CX300 or the v-modas. which one do you recommend? I've heard that v modas have sound leak, and low sound isolation, which is a turn down, is it true? who has better sound quality? |

I own the CX300’s and they isolate ok, have good bass, ok treble, below average mids and have moderate sound clarity. Even though I own a pair, the big deal breaker for me on the CX300’s is the J cable and the terrible cable microphonics they produce. I don’t’ own the Vibes, so I can not advise you on them, but I do own both the CrossRoads MylarOne X3’s and the XB’s. I would highly recommend the XB’s over both the CX300’s and the X3’s, although I still enjoy listening to the X3’s for old recorded music that has been digitally remastered. I could go on and on about how good the XB’s are for the price, but why not read dfkt’s post on XB’s VS. V-Moda Vibes. If you are interested in the CrossRoads, you can buy them online from Jaben.
