Where and how do you even buy Meizu players?

I'm really interested in the new players it has coming out, but how do I even get a hold of one here in Arizona?

Google for HouseOfDap and JTC Electronics: they ship to the US. Although they don't currently offer the new players, I think they'll have them in stock soon after they're released (M6 SL on Sept 25, and Meizu M7 on March, 2008).

I wouldn't say the screen is crap. Of course it doesn't compare with screens from the Zen Vision:M or Cowon D2, but it's pretty good. Keep in mind, though, that I'm not a video geek.

Album art is supported. If you use the player in UMS mode, you'll have to make the folder structure as follows:

+ <Artist name>
|---+ <Artist name> - <Album name>
|   |--- <MP3 files>
|   |--- <Album name>.jpg <-- image for the album cover.

...

I haven't tried album art with WMP, though.

Yeah, the Walgreens pictures must be just low quality then. Have you used Mp3 Tagger to upload album art onto it?

No. With firmware S2003.2 it still doesn't support embedded album art. It only reads album art from image files.

That's pretty lame, I wonder why they haven't added that yet. But if I can still get album art on it, then the Meizu M6 will be my next mp3 player.

But it's better, that's for sure. I had a GoGear. It was the first and last one in my life.

I am probably getting mine from China Direct 2 U, 8 GB, with the Luxury pack. Seems like a great price to me, because of all the extra accesories. I am saving a lot of money, I think. But let me know if you find something like this, cheaper, somewhere else.

What worries me about buying this, is all the bugs and flaws people talk about. Do they happen that often?

I wish they made the M6 firmware open source...
