Default U2 computer problem
When I plug my U2 into my computer the screen pops up but when I click on anything the program stops responding so I can't load music onto the player. I've tried re-setting the player but it doesn't help. Any advice?

What program? Just use Windows Explorer to drag'n'drop files onto the U2.

It won't let me drag and drop. When I click on files everything freezes and eventually the Windows description reads "program not responding".

Have you tried using another USB cable or hooking your player to another PC?

Are you running Vista by any chance?

In any case, upgrade the firmware to the latest version - v1.68.

You might need to attach the U2 to another computer since it's not working on yours.

I was using the latest firmware. Not Vista, about the only thing left is to try another usb cable.
