Default Advice on BREAKING my Zen Vision M

<o></o>
So I recently purchased a Corwon iAudio X-5, leaving me with 2 mp3 players to collect dust (Zen Vision M and an iPod Video … if circumstances permitted, I’d rather break the iPod)
<o></o>
I have a store bought warranty on my Zen Vision M. If it were to break, I can send it in (prepaid postage) and receive a giftcard equal to the purchase ($250).
<o></o>
However, the damage can’t be caused by water, you can’t open it up and cut wires, and the screen must remain intact.

Any ideas?

(is this even legal?)

PS: I plan to use the giftcard on the 'alleged' new Creative mp3 player, when/if it comes out.

put rockbox on it(it cant use it) and it will probably knock it out of working shape, if not brick it I AM NOT REPOSNIBLE for anything that happens to it if they don't accept it. dont know if its legal but if they dont know it wont hurt them

Hit it really, really, really hard on the HDD side and make sure the HD doesnt work anymore OR use a REALLY POWERFUL magnet or you can put the E200 firmware on it that will brick it very well too

err not legal, but if you want to break it you could...

WARNING THESE METHODS WILL (PROBABLY) RESULT IN YOUR DEATH OR INJURY.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY

1) hit it hard while the hard disk is spinning. This breaks every hdd player ever made (you just have to hit some harder than others. Preferably use your hand to prevent obvious damage to the players case.

2) rewire a usb plug so it is at mains voltage (replace the transformer with a regular plug) and connect the player. 240V of dead zvm. (you should probably have fire extinguisher nearby)

3) Freeze it. Then try to turn it on. should cause HDD damage when it tries to spin even though the lubricant in it is too thick/solid. (thaw it out before you send it)

The magnet would probably work aswell, it would have to be very strong though. On the plus side it shouldn't endanger the screen (unlike 1 and 3) or your life (like 2)

good luck.

No, it isn't. It's called "fraud".
