Please help, video problems

PLEASE HELP ME, i wanna put movies on my Clix, i downloaded The Movie Converter and i does convert the movies, but when i attach it to my pc the program always says it's disconnected, same thing with the iRiver Manager. but my PC detects it. so i tried to use Media PLayer 11 to sync........so after i converted the file (if so) i used Media Player to sync, but it always says ERROR. "MOVIE IS NOT IN CORRECT FORMAT" or somthin like that. it's really bugging me, so can some one PLEASE help me.
