Hi there, i'm a potential buyer of d2. very impressed with the machine, in particular the long battery life.
I note that previous fw allows playback of aac or m4a files. However, the latest fw do not support this codec and I would like to ask if anyone knows there will be future support for this codec again. I've got an iTunes library which are all made up of mp3 and m4a files and I've got no intention of performing conversion just to upload to my future player. |

I haven't heard of support in the newer firmware, but if you some of the new features like notepad and flashlite aren't important, firmware version 2.21 is when they changed the aac support.
