Default Is this possible to do?

Ok so what I'm tying to do here is take the jack from my Cresyn phones and attacked them to some little speakers I had lying around. How can I do this. Will I need to solder it? Jack on right speaker on left.

On the speaker the copper is probably the ground, which should not be needed. Just twist the red from the jack to one of the wires from the speaker and then do the same with the green. Now most speakers are 4 or 8 ohms which may be too low if you are connecting this to a DAP. The music will quickly start to distort as the volume is turned up and sustained use could damage the DAP.

Slaughter is right, if they're passive speakers, they won't work with the weak amp of a DAP.

Anyways - yes, you should really solder stuff like that. Splicing and duct tape aren't really a solution.

Red is usually the right channel, so green should be the left one. You're probably better off buying a $2 plug than re-using the one from your phones. I assume you cannot open the plug on the Cresyns, they're probably one single piece of molded plastic.

Ok I triedd doing this, no audio. I'm not worry about a loud signal because I just want it to take advantage of using my D2 as a music alarm. EDIT: I tried connecting this to the headphone jack on my new 2.1 CA speakers, nothing.

have you stripped the covering/paint off the "red" and "green" wires? If you left that on it would block the signal.

Yes it worked!!!! Now I can't wake up to the sweet sound of my D2!!! Thanks again everyone!
Edit: I tried on my D2 (not the headphone jack on my new comp speakers) and ya it does sound horrible. With the fake line out settings its ok, but with any jet effects its bad. I need to tweak it, but I'm still gunna try it as an alarm.
