Thanks for looking into this. I totally understand about battery concerns. I am not positive if these would cause unnecessary drain on the battery or not.

Speaking of presentation, I'll release a modified theme today...it isn't ready yet.

...Now I don't know whether to post to the main list, or to the cpchan branch thread!
IS there any way to get Cue/Review working? That is, like the original firmware, where you hear audio as you FF/RW? (Is there patch for this?) I searched the Rockbox forum... and found an unanswered question! Also, I copy files to the Sansa every day... Even though I have automatic DB refresh on, it doesn't seem to always refresh, unless I restart a few times... |

I might be getting confused with another feature (if Sandisk would ever send back my player I would know for sure...) but isn't there a way to force a DB refresh (Rockbox)?

Yes, you can do a manual update, but the auto mode should be fixed if the problem occurs in the current build.

...before I update...
How safe is it to restore a config file with a new build? BTW, the autoupdate has been 'broken' for as long as I've tried Rockbox (the past couple weeks). |

In the newest build, Playlist Actions isn't at the top of the Context menu anymore. Now its back to Sound Settings

ok - so you just unzip the new version on top of the old...
I've been deleting the old first... then needing to copy over the font folder.. |

Yep, still have the DB refresh problem... I actually shutdown (not total shutdown) twice and it didn't refresh this time... I did it manually and shutdown... all was ok.

Thanks! Good luck on getting the Sansa!
Is that stuff going to be part of the main Rockbox? I think cpchan was saying that I should open a ticket on the rockbox website... which I did. |

In your latest build the Sansa slows down again when I listen to music while browsing through the files/database/etc.

Hi!
I have a crash with your latest build rockbox when trying to play videos from my microSD card(There are just videos on it) I think the "stackf..." error message is shown.I couldn't read it exactly Also deleting the .cfg file did not help. The booting time takes also very long compared to the former builds from you. Now I switched back successfully to your build from yesterday(070530). xandl12 |
