Hi,
On WMP if you go on "shuffle .." < Your Mp3 name. does it put the songs from your library onto your mp3 and delete the songs from your mp3 that arent on your library. Thanks, also does your mp3 lose maximum memory by deleting songs off your mp3 from WMP?? Thanks in advance |

Your question is kinda confusing to me, but I'll try to take a stab at it...
If you synced with WMP, and later deleted songs from WMP's library, then yes, it will delete the songs from your player as well. However, if you synced with something else, WMP will not delete any songs synced with something else. I don't know what you mean about "losing maximum memory". Deleting songs from your player via WMP is functionally no different from deleting the songs straight from the player. The amount of space the songs took up prior to deletion is the amount of space you'll get back after deletion.

Ok. Thanks. So when i delete the songs from my library how do i get them to go off my mp3 without deleting them from both the library and the sync list by pressing del. or does it do it automatically.
Like with itunes with ipods you just press update and all the songs either go on your ipod or get removed. how can you do something like that with your WMP Losing memory: apparently everytime you delete a song from an mp3 you lose 0.01 mb on memory. so if you keep deleting and adding 100's of songs, then the 2.7 or something gb memory which can maybe quickly become 2.6 etc |

WMP will handle it automatically. Just click the "Sync Now" button.
As for losing memory - I hadn't noticed that happening, but then I haven't been paying much attention to that either. If you see it happening, booting to Recovery Mode and selecting Disk Cleanup will restore your "lost" free space. See the Recovery Mode thread in the FAQ subforum here for more information.

I cant do this unless i have songs to sync which in many cases i dont. |

Hmmm. Undock your player, then redock it. This will force an auto-sync.

Well, honestly, there's no real reason for WMP to be managing your image library, so you can go into the Monitored Folders settings and remove all references to your image folders.

Does wmp make a distinction between the songs it synced to your player and the songs that have been transfered using other applications?

I haven't thoroughly tested this, but I believe it does.

Another slightly trivial question: When you sync a ZVM with WMP11, does WMP update its own library from the data off the mp3 player as well as the other way round, or is it a stricly one way sync. E.g. If I rate a song four stars on my mp3 player and then sync it with WMP, will WMP automatically rate the song by the latest rating it received? I tested this, but with mixed results.

WMP should update its library with more recent changes made on the player.
