You should see a bunch of lines of code that look like this:

Immediately following those lines will be a line with %wd. Replace that line, and the next two lines, with the following:

%cl:%cM:%cS
%cb %ce, %cY

Let me know if that fixes it.

EDIT: After looking at what your Sansa was displaying, it occurs to me that you probably want 24-hour display vs. 12-hour display, which is what you'll get if you use the above. If you want 24-hour display, do it like this:

%wd
%cH:%cM:%cS
%cb %ce, %cY

The WPS code is scrambled. I and major_works already talked about this problem in a threand IIRC. The WPS code changed some weeks ago and the themes which were made before the change are scrambled now. Take a look at the Custom WPS page and modify your .wps file according to the new code. I did it without even plugging my Sansa in, I modified it with the text editor in Rockbox.

Any chance the id3 tag editor could be included? or is it already, I always find the odd song with the wrong tag that I wish I could change on the player.

AFAIK, I think there is an updated ID3 tag editor patch avilable but I know about as much about compiling a build as a goldfish knows about quantum physics so I'll accept the fact if its not possible due to some reason or another.

I can include that. I have never bothered because text entry on the Sansa is painful- it is much easier to do it on the computer with a proper keyboard.

yeah but its handy for removing the odd wrong letter or replacing an 'And' with '&' or adding or removing a 'The' or something.

Hey its your build after all, just a suggestion, I can live without it but it would be handy none the less, a good compliment to the file manager.

What if this "and" is the second word of 6? You have to delete all the other words just for and and retype than. We definetely need a cursor to jump within a line!!

yeah that cursor movement would be very useful but thats up to the person who developed the plugin, but at least you have the ability to edit them now,

If you hold the rec button while moving the cursor, it moves over the characters without deleting. At least it works for me.

Oh, and I discovered that trick by exploring. Couldn't find it in the manual.

That is freaking awesome! You just figured out how to get around what's probably the worst thing about the text editor! Thanks... seems like a small thing but it's not.

The static noise bug was fixed in the SVN yesterday. Could you please update your build, so those with the EU version can use it again?

I second G.I.Joe, i couldn't use any of the unofficial builds because of the static.

I'm glad it was fixed, so please if you can, update the build.
