I am thinking about choosing Archos, but need input...

I know the Archos av500 allows you to transfer dvd's to the unit itself. Does anyone know how long this takes? Can you transfer recorded shows from like a tivo or dvr to the av500?

Also, the 604 says that you can record tv. I know you have to get the optional docking bay that comes with the av500, but can you also transfer dvds to the 604?

Any input on which of these 2 units are better and why would greatly appreciated...
