Mine YH-925 won't start up.(only a white screen)
I've tried to use the recover utility, but I get a message that the device is not connected. I opened the player and used the hd as external drive. That is working allright. Does somebody have a solution for me, or maybe an copy of the system files of her/his yh-925. |

its sounds like you are trying to use the recovery program while in the "plays for sure" mode (at least thats what I call it)
try unplugging the player from your computer and the power and turn it off, plug the usb into the computer so that when you connect the dongle to the player it will connect to the pc and power at the same time. now before plugging in the cable, hold the top right button in (the skip track button) and keep it held in as you plug in the cable and until the screen read something like =USB CONNECTED= then try to run the recovery program. if the recovery works you may need to download and install the new firmware (janus is what i am using, i believe is the newest. Good Luck |
