limited = does not cover you breaking it.

Broken screens happen. The glass that makes up the LCD is generally durable, but rough handling over periods of time can weaken them.

However, we do have a success story in-the-making regarding obtaining warranty repair in this thread.

Good luck!

here is some pictures, for you people who think i meant broken screen like the other thread, it did not implode, it simply have white lines running through the screen like shown in the pics, also i have treated the my zvm with the up most care and have only dropped maybe once or twice(not in a row) softly and not recently so i kind of rule out the mishandling factor, it just turned this way all the sudden -_-
*there is a little reflection because of my crappy camera but just a little bit the white, brightness of the screen is not reflection*!!!!

Yep, that's definitely a problem - either the LCD cracked along its conductive edges, or it's a failure of the associated circuitry. You should definitely be able to get an RMA for that.

Try taking it back to Circuit City first - they'll probably let you exchange it, and you won't have to worry about an RMA.

As for how to prevent it... Hmmm... Well, don't expose it to temperature extremes, don't cram it in your back pocket, don't press really hard on the screen area, or stuff it in a backpack full of other stuff. And definitely don't drop it.

That's about all I can think of right now.

Did they just open up a new Zen Vision: M and give you the player or did they let you have the accessories as well? I would like to know because if I do get a replacement for my Zen Vision: M, I don't want to take it out until I get a new Invisible Shield sent to me to minimize scratches.

you dont have to pay for the repair, just the shipping, if there telling you its your fault, argue, but politely.

Pretty much what ZenChick says, is my answer. Plus, she's a moderator and is a genius. So just follow her directions, and you should be fine.
