Can you view videos as file names rather than icons

Is it possible to view your videos as file names rather than icons. For example if I load a directory with multiple episodes of a tv show I can't tell from the icons what the episode numbers are as they are in the file name but i don't know how to view the files names. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
