Just wondering, when I use the headphone out to hook it up to my stereo, should I put the volume on 0dB or 6dB? I can't hear the difference but am just curious whether there is a difference (other then volume)? Is for ex 6db a 'digital boost' or is it just the maximum the circuits can output?
Any insights in this would be welcome. Thanks, Ted |

It was always my understanding that you should use 0db.

6 db is analog amplification, but its above peak so it may clip on loud music.
