Default Sony MDR-ED12

This earphone looks good on paper and sounds great, however it falls out of my ears so easily! If only a bit more thought went into designing this it might have been great. It seems like the "missing link" between traditional earbuds and IEMs. Its body is shaped like a traditional earbud, but then it has a rubber cap has projections that go very slightly into the ear canal. If someone is looking for an earphone to modify, this might be a good candidate.

I'm assuming you're talking about these below, I can't see how that would even fit in my ear.

Yes, that it. It fits in my ear, but falls out way too easily.

I've owned similar Sony buds before,...they suck as far as staying in the ear. When held in place some actually sound really good. But, who wants to have to hold them in place?

I love these earbuds, the sound quality is excellent. I don't really have a problem with them falling out, I guess they suit bigger ears though.

I saw a version that doesn't have that tip on the end, though I imagine the sound quality isn't as good with those.
