Matrix album art display has stopped showing

so the matrix album art display in my S9 just stopped displaying one day. i dont think i did anything in the settings or whatever to make that happen, and I can't find anything to turn it back on. The turning sideways thing still works for pictures/movies so it can't be that. I guess it's not really a big deal, but it'd be nice to be able to browse albums that way. Any ideas?

You sure you didn't just disable it? Poke around on the bottom icons in the now playing screen.

Hey you're right, I must have accidentally pressed it once. (Didn't realize that was the icon for the matrix)
