Help Screen Flickering

I just bought a cowon J3 and I can see that the screen is flickering a little bit all the time, not much but just enough to be a bit annoying. Is it normal ? Do I am the only one who have this problem ?

I can feel that the bottom of the J3 become warm a little bit too, is it normal ???

Thank for your help!

If you have multiple embedded album art images, the J3 will cycle between them automatically. With MediaMonkey it's easy to get duplicate images in a track, in which case the player will appear to flicker when what it's really doing is alternating between two identical album cover images in the track.

cpurick good point to bring up, and does the cycling between album art pictures make it run warm? I can see that causing it ...

WalkGood, warmth is probably associated with battery activity. Charging from a deep discharge is probably the warmest thing you can do, but I wouldn't be surprised if using Bluetooth warms the device too, based on how much people say Bluetooth shortens battery life.

Maybe watching video, or any activity that keeps the screen on for a long time. The display itself won't get warm, but it taps the battery a lot harder than simple music playback.
