mp3 touch screens w/ apps

Are there any mp3 touch screen devices that run windows mobile, android or the like? I'm looking specificially for a device that will allow me to read books on it, and that is 5 inches or smaller in screen size. Sadly the only thing I've been able to find is the ipod to match that critera, hence why I'm here asking!

It's because the ipod IS the only thing that matches all those criterias, because it's the iphone without the mobile telecommunication system. Android and stuff are all for phones right now, so you'd have to wait a while before anything similar is produced. In the meanwhile, just buy a phone...

SmartQ v5 or v7 match that need, the v7 comes with android,linux and windows ce preinstalled.

the archos 5/7/9 also would cover your book+audio needs.

no they arent perfect, and if you get something from focalprice, i advise you put a squaretrade warr on it as soon as you get it!!!

there are a bunch of ebook readers and tablets on sites like

if you get anything from any of them make sure to grab a square trade warr on it, that way if it breaks you can get a refund or repair very quickly (unlike trying to deal with china!!!)

do you own a eken M001/2 or a smartq V5?

You could spend insane amounts of money and get an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S (though there's rumored to be an MP3 player from Samsung that's the Galaxy S minus the phone for about $330 in August).

Or you could see about importing a Viliv P3. It dual boots Android and Windows CE.
