Help Generic 16 GB Video/MP3 player help!

Hi, I have a generic touch-screen 16 Gb MP3/Video player which won't finish booting. I've had it less than a week, there is no manufacturer information that I can find (I got it off eBay.) Any suggestions? I've already tried using the hardware reset and all it does is shut down the player and when I flip the switch again, it goes right back to where it was stating "Welcome" in big letters with small text below stating "loading".

It has three buttons on the bottom edge in the following order - M + and also has an SD card slot and a camera built-in. On the back are stickers that say 16GB and "QCB" with an "M" undeneath the QCB.

I'm sure it's going to be next to impossible to identify the manufacturer but I'm holding out a slim hope someone here has seen this problem before.

Sorry to say this, and not to insult you, but that's what you get for buying cheap crap. Unless you can find manufacturing info to contact the company, or log on their website, your on your own.

X2... Was this player used or did it come with any literature that might have a model #, company name, or maybe even a distributers name? Perhaps a pic of the player, like on the side of a milk carton, also may help somebody identify it. This is the type of shady things that happen with these chinese gumball machine players. Good luck

Unfortunately, I did not receive any literature. I emailed the seller and he said it came from a small factory and he couldn't give me any contact / web info.

I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy a name-brand MP3 player.... *sigh*
