Cool Bassiest Headphones?

Although the V-Moda Bass Freq are at the lower end of the scale and have questionable lifespan, Ive found them to still give the best bass from the other headphones Ive used. I purchased as pair of SuperFi 5 EB and still thought the Bass Freq were more to my taste. I still feel theres room for improvement with the Bass Freq on overall clarity.

Im wondering however if theres any other suggestions for bass orientated headphones at <£50 which can be powered by a Sansa Clip?

Im am currently using a Cowon iaudio 7 but will be soon replacing that with a Sansa Clip.

The JAYS s-JAYS seem pretty bass heavy oriented:

Yep, I agree. The Radius have the most... more than the CX300, SF5EB, Atrio, etc, etc. I modded their shitty J-cable to Y-style and use Ultimate Ears silicon tips with them, for improved seal/bass. They're my favorite phone in combination with the Nintendo DS.

those radius ones sound good, but they aren't all that bass-heavy. Even the model says "atomic bass" but I don't really think so. They're good, but they're not fantastic. I got mine for free here, as a matter of fact. it was a random drawing. I happened to get one of 3 pair of these.

strange... my atomic bass has more bass quantity than UE super.fi 5 eb even though the bass quality is far behind super.fi 5 eb

The V-Moda Bass Freq's might be 1 of the better sounding bass monster iem's.

perhaps I'm just not hearing the difference in the bass all that much. It has been awhile since I was using them. The left channel went out, so I bought myself some Marshmallows. Then more recently I bought the RE2. The marshmallows were a bit more lacking in bass, but the RE2 has about the same quantity, though the quality is much improved (especially when using an E5 on bass boost)

If your looking for bass laden headphones then why go from the cowon to the clip? Unless your using rockbox then the cowon will be better for boosting the bass.
