Default Ordering from Dell U.S. from Canada?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if Dell U.S. could ship to a Canadian province.

I tried signing up for an account, but they only had states, so I'm pretty much guessing that it's not possible for the P3 to be shipped to Canada?

Apparently, the P3 won't be released in Canada - just a rumor I heard - so I'm pretty stumped on where to get one.

Glad if you could help =P

Ha ha ha, Welcome fellow Canadian

Unfortunately no, Dell U.S. does not deliver across the 49th parallel. Do you have any friends in the United States? That's really the only way to get it is if you do have friends, send it to them and get them to send it up to you after the fact. If you don't have any friends in the United States, B&H Photo and warehouse123.com both have the P3 and DO deliver to Canada. But be prepared to pay duty and respective provincial tax on it

I got one more solution for you.... Do you collect airmiles?... The picture and description is clearly the P2 but the model number is P3JEB. It's worth a shot... and FREE ship and CDN warranty to boot!

Well they do have an 8gber P3 on there right now. $139.99 damn! that's a decent price. The only thing I'd be a bit skeptical about is that it's referbished and only has a 90 day warranty. I'm just hesitant to buy a product that has "referbished" on it. I mean respectively there can be nothing wrong with a referbished player and may truck along for a fair few years but still. Thoughts? Do you know if I could get a 3rd party warranty or insurance on it just incase it does crap out?

I bought my P2 as a refurb from them. My only complaint was that shipping was steep for "in Canada". Other than that it was flashed to the latest firmware, had zero scratches on it, "like new" battery life and works fantastic. I had a very positive experience with them.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with 3rd party insurance for an item of that value.

Point well taken. Hmmm, might have to do some number crunching because my patience with Dell.com is running thinner by the day. Also, how often does Eoutlet restock? They're currently out of stock on the P3, what would you guess the timeline would be like to have them in stock again?

I couldn't say for sure. I had the same issue with the 16GB P2 and emailed them about restocking. Their response turnaround is quick (same day) and gave me a timeline of a couple of weeks. They emailed me when it came in.

Hey so a quick update, got hold of the folks at eoutletcanada, they said they've been waiting for a few months for some of the 16gb P3's, and asked me to contact them in about 2 weeks. So keep your eyes open people, they may be available soon.
