Default Pink outlines around icons when changing background in custom theme

I downloaded a UCI theme from Alex's site (http://alexzakl-4.narod.ru/uci_2.htm) and applied it onto my P2. It looks great, but if I decide I want to change the background picture by going to Picture, selecting a picture, clicking the playlist icon, and set it as background or whatever, then I get pink outlines around the text and around the icons. Something to do with transparency but I'm not interested in the problem, I was wondering if there was a solution? Thanks in advance.

in short. you cant fix it.

in long, you can fix it if you use the UCI editor and remake the icons but with a hard outline. Unfortunately the P2 doesnt do transparency very well (as it uses magenta as the transparent colour), the antialiasing on the edging of icons will come out pink because you cant have a "soft edge" when you are using magenta for transparency.
