Iriver Clix Functionality missing
There are 2 aspects of my Clix that seem to no longer work. One is the auto-shut off -- I wake up the next morning and my player is dead. I have it on 30 second auto shut off so if I pause it, it will eventually turn off. The second thing is the back-light - it stays lit all the time now which is a huge power drain. How can I remedy these problems? Please help.

Did you try reloading the firmware? The second issue does hint to some firmware problem, which in turn would explain the first issue.

Yeah, it was a hassle to even find the newest iriver firmware loader. Once I got the right one, I put on the firmware and there was no change. Maybe I can downgrade the fw and then upgrade the fw? Is that even a possibility?
