Default 8GB Clip handling
Hey,

Anyone here with the new 8GB Clip? I'll get mine on monday and wanted to know how long it takes to scroll through a complete list of songs.

Is is a nice thing to have 8GB of songs stored on such a tiny player with such a small display, or can the Clip handle this capacity?

We are not sure because I have not seen the 8GB Clips yet here.

They're not for sale in the US yet?

Hmm...I hope Amazon will stick to the release date they have announced (which would be the 24th in Germany).

It would be funny if the 8 gig Clip sells for more than the 8 gig Fuze. Walmart is selling the 8 gig Fuze for $87.54.

I too am anxiously waiting to see if and when an 8GB Clip will be released. I have a pair of Atrios I'm expecting tomorrow with no source!!!

40€ is the best price I could find. However, I ordered @ Amazon.de for 50€ (free shipping).

Can't wait until Monday!

WOW! Only 40 Euros for an 8 gig Clip? At $1.282 a Euro(the current exchange rate!),

that works out to just $51.28! The Euro had been as high as around $1.60 just a few months ago!

The pricing will be very interesting, given the great drop in the price of memory this year. (I just purchased last month a SanDisk well-equipped 8gb thumbdrive for only $20.)

It will be especially interesting considering how their stock dropped after the Samsung deal was taken off the table the other day
