I have purchased Samsung YP-T10 MP3 player from the store yesterday. But I was not able to use it due to the problems with rsc and rom files. I had no idea on what is to be done.
![]() But when I read instructions provided by you, it worked. Thanks a lot for all the help.

Direct linker
- The latest YP-55 and YP-ST5 firmware verisons posted here are direct links to files I posted on my own server since 2003/2004 and I asked people not to direct link to. I may just mod the file names so they become redirects to my download page, well Yepp Support Forum download page and then they can get them from the site knowing the host. ![]() Thanks though for posting like this, my own list has gotten a little out dated. For years Samsung wasn't posting anything much, especially for an english audience. Now though they're much better and the english versions aren't as handicapped as they once were when compared to the KR editions. Still a useful resource ![]() Oh and since I'm posting here anyway I might as well plug it, my site is The Yepp Support Site - if you can't find your answer here you might want to check our archives there, we have almost 3000 posts now about all sorts of Yepp players. Just the other day I modded the YP-55 firmware to disable the hold button for all those who keep getting it turned on when they don't want it. Not saying you post there instead or anything, but it can be a helpful resource if you are looking for a solution to something ![]() - CCz_Cataphract/PJPeter Last edited by pjpeter; 01-14-2009 at 01:48 AM. |

Pls note, as per my other posting, the 1.22 f/w for the Q1 causes my player to flicker really really badly when playing FLAC files. Sounds is OK, and other formats appear fine, but this is annoying.

for the P2, I jumped to the latest firmware. Should I downgrade and install every firmware, or is it all the same?

Great forum!!!! Very informative.
I know that question was already asked, but I don't find satisfactory answer. How to activate bluetooth in T9 after firmware upgrade? I had to low level format my player (YP-T9JBAB) and upgrade-reload firmware. Both 1.72 and 1.8 don't seem to have bluetooth menu at all. It seems to me that it might be a firmware issue. Any help? Thanks |

I am officially lost now. I admit: I have been beaten by Samsung. For four months now, I've been trying to locate the Samsung firmware that would unleash the BLUETOOTH, which seems to be trapped inside the lifeless corpse of the cold YP-T9JBAB/XAC. Today the final straw has been put on my camel's back. I have been told by Samsung help desk the player menu SHOULD display BLUETOOTH between "microphone - record" and "wrench'en'gear - settings". Tried three times to reinstall two different versions of Samsung firmware - no such thing as BLUETOOTH. What is the mystery behind the illusive BLUETOOTH? Whay doesn't the latest published Samsung firmware (1.72) have that option? Where do I find the software, which uploaded, will give me freedom? I just want to be able to use my bluetooth headphones again...no cables, can you imagine? Last edited by CanCan; 04-09-2009 at 11:54 AM. Reason: clarity |

The user manual page 59 also mentions that not all versions of the T9 include bluetooth. A T9B and T9JB seem to be the only versions. Manuals for any other version of a T9 don't include any mention of bluetooth. I know nothing about the T9 except what this page has told me, so I hope these links help solve your mystery. |
