OK, I compiled the list myself
Please feel free to add more details to this thread if you have any.And here's a link to the thread with the firmware downloads. Clip v1 + v2 01.01.32 / 02.01.32 Enhancements:
Clip v1 01.01.30 Enhancements:
01.01.29 Bug Fixes:
01.01.20 Bug Fixes:
01.01.18 Bug Fixes:
Clip v2 02.01.16 Enhancements:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whenever I upgrade firmware, I always like to know what bugs it is fixing, what enhancements it will bring (and maybe take away), etc. I was thinking it'd be nice if there was a sticky listing not only the most recent firmware, but ALL of the firmware revisions. If not the actual binaries, then at least a full list of the changes from v11A to v12A to 18A etc. Does anybody have this info? Do share! Thanks

The revisions for at least the last 2 have been listed here, although, I believe, in separate threads.

Yes, that is true. If you really hunt around and look past (literally) 100's of replies to the firmware upgrade posts, I think you can find most of the firmware. It took me 30 minutes of hunting, though, and I think I missed a few (for instance, I didn't see anything between 20 and 29).
It'd be cool to see the upgrade progress in one nice, concise place is what I'm saying. |

I agree with you; it would make for a good sticky thread. Here are the links to the threads listing the firmware revision history for firmware upgrades .18, .20 and .29. (There was nothing between .20 and .29--SanDisk seems to issue upgrades using its internal numbering system.)

Just a little FYI - the "missing" firmware numbers (0.19, 0.21~0.28) did exist - they were used by beta and internal test versions.
![]() The large span of unpublicized versions between '20 and '29 should be an indicator of how careful Sansa is about releasing solid code. |

Great job, unpocoloco! I added proper list-formatting, hope you don't mind.

Thanks and thanks! I actually meant to eventually go back and fix the formatting, but I really appreciate your help as I need to lay off the typing for a little while.

If it's really important to you, file creation dates can be found inside the ZIP archive: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22669
Seems x.32 was the last firmware for the Clip anyways, as my last post in this thread was in March, and Sandisk probably only cares for the Clip+ at the moment.

Does version 2 skip from 02.01.16 to .32 to .35?

Yes, the first v2 firmware update (.16) was named differently than the corresponding v1 firmware, then they obviously decided to use the same version numbers for both Clip variants. There's no other firmware versions in between .16 and .32.
