For reasons that will be fully explained when I get back from school and have oodles of time, I would like to download my firmware to 2.0 in order to re-install 3.15.
I've gone on the Samsung site and have got the second firmware zipped on my desktop, but am at a loss for what to do in order to adctually downgrade it. Step by step instructions appreciated ![]() Cheers |

The downgrade is the same is upgrade. i.e just install the two files in the root directory, disconnect the p2 and then turn it on.

So what, just copy the files into the 'root directory'?

root directory = the "P2" when you open your windows explorer (P2 is the 'root').

Actually this depends upon whether you are still on MTP, or have changed to UMS.
If you have changed to UMS, then yes it will be just the first (lowest) directory on your P2. [example: P2 (F:) on mine] If you are on MTP it will be inside of "Internal Storage" or "Data" depending on your version of WMP [example P2 (F:)\Internal Storage\] For more info look at the sticky: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25784 |
