Default nice

these are some very good pics.
man the K5 is a big, thick player.

I currently own a Z5, and haven't hald a K5 yet, but from the looks/dimesions it looks very heavy.

Great pics Enzo... the size comparison photo with the other players makes the K5 look like a behemoth, but in actuality it's a pretty small player. Just goes to show that the Zen V is tiny....

It's easy to forget that it's the speakers adding the bulk. I dare say that the other players, if they included speakers, would be just as thick and perhaps more so. The K5 is amazingly small considering this feature...

thanks Utew,

Yeah if you take away the speakers you have pretty much the same size as the Z5. I would like to know what else is hiding in the speaker half of the player... If it would be possible mod this player to be able to separate the halfs. I may have to crack one open.

..and as a kid you probably dissected every electronic gizmo you came in contact with...lol ....I know I did.... ;-)

Might not be so hard actually. By slipping a pin into the little hole-like depressions on the sides of the small rectangular covers on the backside of the speakers, might just gain you access..

I'm not sure, I'm that brave to try it with my $260 toy.. at least not just yet.. be sure to let us know if you do though.
