Thanks to the people on this forum, I learned about the TrekStor Vibez. I bought one and absolutely love it. I'm wondering what kind of long term reliability people have been having with it.

I've had mine for 10 months and counting with no issues.

Worked fine for over 9 months; survived a few drops and a cat mauling; it carried on working fine. Database rebuilds seem to take longer and longer. Then a bit of an innocuous knock (on the protective metal backing plate) and the device no longer gets past the "vibez" boot screen.

Your harddrive needle is probably stuck, probably as a result of the gentle 'knock' to the back. This occasionally happens with devices with small portable hard drives. Try another gentle knock or two. It occasionally unsticks it, and at this point, nothing can hurt
