My Zen Touch stops after it has played a track, and I have to press play to make it start on the next track. At the end of the next track, I need to press play again. I have only listened to one single artist all day, but I didn't see a specific pattern. It's not consistent either. It does it for a few tracks, then goes back to normal. I found the same track and played it again, and sometimes I could reproduce the problem, sometimes not.
Since I was at work, I grabbed a paper clip, straightened it and pressed "reset". It still does it. ![]() When I play the tracks on my computer I don't have any problems, so I'm assuming the files are okay. It's a bit annoying though, so if anyone has suggestions for how to get my Touch to play songs without constantly being being reminded to do so, I'd be very happy.

Verify that you have Play Mode set to "Normal", and not some sort of single-track mode. If this doesn't help, you may need to reinstall your player's firmware.

I keep the Play Mode on "shuffle", I think... the player is downstairs, but I will look that up as soon as I get a minute. Worst case scenario, I know where the USB cable is

Switched Play Mode... ran the player on various artists during the day to see if the problem came back. So far, it seems okay. Thanks
