Video files not appearing

So I recently tried putting videos onto my e250 mp3 player with the conversion software that came with the player .. obviously, it didn't work. So I downloaded the newest version and converted my videos and put them on the Sansa. However, once I turn on my player they don't show up in the videos section. If the device is plugged into the computer, it'll appear under the VIDEOS file, yet on the actual player it shows the file is <empty>.

I saw someone had a problem with this as well, but downloading the newest conversion version worked for them, when it apparently has not for me. Any suggestions?

I'm also having this problem. The ArcSoft version of the SMC didn't recognize my player at all; I ended up downloading the older, Intervideo version, which did recognize the player, and seemingly had no problems with converting the video and transferring it to my device. However, video files still won't show up! Drag and drop doesn't work, transferring with SMC doesn't work. It shows in the correct folder, but it won't show in my Video list. This is really frustrating as I've spent the past two hours or so trying to convert a simple music video and get it to show on my player.

Someone must know what the deal is. Help!

If you can get the exact specs for the video conversion, go to http://www.mux.am/power and input them into the requires fields. That will of course be a manual convert and failing that, there ae altenitives to the SMC listed on this site.
