RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., August 27, 2007 – Samsung Electronics, an award-winning leader in consumer electronics design and innovation continues its streak of launching first class technology with the release of two new digital audio players, the YP-P2 and YP-T10. Samsung’s new lineup of MP3 players combines stylish design, state-of-the-art sound and convenient connectivity options. Both the Samsung P2 and T10 players boast built-in Bluetooth 2.0 capability, providing wireless listening whether connecting to Bluetooth 2.0 headphones or speakers.

The players have been designed with a slim form factor ensuring the player fits naturally in your hand and easily in your pocket. Samsung’s proprietary sound technology, Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe) provides customizable high quality acoustics designed to sound great in earphones. The Samsung P2 and T10 MP3 players will be available in the US in September of 2007.

YP-P2: Widescreen Portable Video
The P2 features an array of functions including video, music, photos, voice recording, FM radio and text, as well as portable file storage. Only 0.4 inches thick, the P2 boasts an expansive 3-inch wide screen, a boon for mobile movie lovers. The high-resolution screen displays 30 frames per second in 16:9 screen ratio for seamless and steady video playback. Samsung’s Bluetooth speaker YA-BS300, sold separately, turns the P2 into a mobile theater.

The P2 also features a full touch screen GUI, allowing ultimate control with the touch of a finger. The touch screen reacts to consumers’ gestures using an input system built by Samsung that follows the finger, going beyond merely tapping selections. With Bluetooth 2.0, the P2 and Samsung Bluetooth Headset YA-BH270, sold separately, will enable up to three people to share music. The P2 features up to 35 hours of music playback, up to 5 hours of movie playback and is available with 4 GB and 8 GB NAND flash memory. The P2 is available in black, white and burgundy.

YP-T10: Slim, Stylish, and Full of Functions
The T10 features full functionality in a super slim feather-weight player. At only 0.3 inches thick and 1.5 ounces, the T10 combines a music player, FM radio, photo album, video player, voice recorder, text reader and game player all in one. The T10 features 4 GB memory and is offered in three bold colors. The 2-inch screen, delivers crystal clear QVGA resolution while the DNSe 2.0 sound engine provides powerful sound. For listening with a friend, Bluetooth 2.0 support enables users to connect two wireless stereo headsets. Samsung has also improved menu graphics by enabling users to customize the look of the multimedia player interface from a traditional style to a unique character animation.

this was already put on another thread the what do you think of the upcoming YP-P2. I suggest you just comment on that one instead of making another thread
