Ok i basically did a firmware update, it looked like it was all going great i formated it and thought yerp everything is sweet.
i removed it from the usb and loaded it, i was like THANK GOD ITS WORKING it loaded and its a white screen, it still work, it plays music, and i can still connect it to the computer. So what went wrong, how can i fix it ? The boot screen comes up etc. Should i try reformatting the space ? Was there something i had to put in to make it work im a little confused and im affaraid i may have broken it :/ EDIT Ok i basically put the firmware files back into the data folder and just into the root i reloaded it and it upgraded it again, this time it updated the image and aui. Im so greatful it worked i was just about to cry :P Thanks for the write ups etc that people have done, i think my k5 must be a little different in the fact that i dont need the data file at all, i think i can just load the firmware straigh into the root and it will load it. |
