I just got it a few days ago and here is my problem:
I am using 2 converters to convert dvd to .wmv since thats all the gigabeat supports. I got the italian job to .wmv but there is no sound so how do i extract the sound? Then how do i merge the sound and the video together after that? Its only the italian job that i am having trouble with so far. Programs i am using are: ***** dvd to wmv converter sound is off and files are 700mb or above DVDZIP Pro v3.1 which is the best files are 300-400mb. |

not sure exactly, usually you would rip the sound and vid together, when i had this problem (using different player tho), I was encoding the sound as an unsupporeted format, so it could read teh video and not the sound... anyhow, see if you can find out what output format your programs use for sound and wheter you can change it.

I give up can somebody just tell me what a good converter is that will convert the italian job to wmv? I don't care how big the file is it could be 4gb for all i care as long as its the italian job english and .wmv.
I got the file to mp4 to so if you can give me a converter for the mp4 to .wmv that works for the italian job then that would be awesome. Or just tell me a converter that might work.

Hi, I am using Intervideo DVD Copy v5. I has various compression schemes for the IPOD, Zen, etc. It does have a WMV scheme but when it is done and I try to sync it still does a conversion. However, once finished the movie plays perfectly with no glitches at all.

Quote:
I don't know if the problem has been resolved (or for others reading this) but I use ***** MPEG Encoder without problems. I don't know if there are different ***** encoder programs, but the one I use lets you encode to just about any video playback (.avi, .dob, .wmv, etc...).
