I'm not sure how generic the transmitters are, but I have an iRiver FM transmitter that I was using with my T30, and it works just fine with my Sansa Fuze. So, I didn't have to spend more money! :D

Thanks for the info. I noticed the chart says "not compatible with factory external CD changer." But mine's the OEM CD/DVD-changer, so maybe the PIE X3 system will work. I'll look into it.
